Ely Aqua Swim School provides swimming lessons for all ages and abilities in the Norfolk area. We offer a fun and exciting learning experience, developing water confidence and the key skills needed to swim the recognized strokes.
Our team of teachers are highly qualified professionals, friendly, and enthusiastic. All of our teachers are Swim England qualified and are dedicated to teaching to an exceptional standard.
At Ely Aqua Swim School, we are passionate about swimming. We take every care to provide our swimmers with the support they need to help them flourish. Our exceptionally small class sizes and dedicated teachers mean we can craft our lessons to suit every child’s individual needs.
Our Swimming Pools are conveniently situated for Haddenham, Ely and surrounding villages and Downham, Swaffham and Kings Lynn. We provide an exciting, safe, and stimulating environment for all our swimmers. Our pools are well-equipped with all the necessary aids required to learn to swim and are both clean and nurturing.
The Swim timetable runs alongside Cambridgeshire’s academic year. Each new term, we operate a renewable booking process with release dates being announced on our website and Facebook page. We also run Intensive courses during the school holidays.
**Speed Up Your Progress**
Many of our venues also offer our intensive courses during the Easter and Summer school holidays. These aim to speed up children’s swimming progress with an intensive batch of 5 lessons, held Monday – Friday.
We offer these as 2:1 classes in Haddenham & 4:1 classes in Lilac Pool Eastmoor and Downham Market, so that you will receive lots of personal attention to your stroke technique and see a rapid improvement.
Intensive courses are often used to boost children’s swimming skills and increase their confidence around water before a family holiday – as well as giving their swimming a boost and being a fun and productive way of filling up holiday time.”

These classes are a starting place for the over 5′s or a progressive step on from our pre-school/non swimmers classes
A follow on from My Aqua Babies classes; children gain water confidence under the safety of their teacher, adults are not required to accompany children in the water. Maximum of 3 swimmers

Our Competition Pool gives our swimmers space to grow and develop their skills in our progressive classes.
Our advanced classes concentrate on maintaining the Swim England strokes over a greater distance using the correct starts and turns
